Thank you, Joakim!

As I'm also a Mac-user (after 15 years with Windows-based machines), the little Dashboard Widget Dashblog was really useful! Now I can just write down observations from my shallow life in an instance!

Finally - an update!

Hello again! It's been over a month since my last update on my blog. To anyone who might actually care: Sorry! :) Elisabeth and I have spent the last two months refurbishing our new house, along with preparing to sell my apartement. And to be frank: I'm sick of it! Luckily we're done with the major projects now. We've received great help from Elisabeth's parents, uncles and aunts. Appreciated! Also, Asbjørn has helped me with the oak mouldings (I think that's how to write it...).
Months ago I promised pictures from the process, and here comes:

Over: A very brave Anders defies his temporary injury (once) and gravity (as usual) when painting the cellar windows.

Over: Our kitchen before we tore it all down... (note: observe the incredible wallpaper...)

Over: How can you not fall in love with a toilet like this? Not to mention the sink..

Over: Elisabeth were also painting, with a smile!

I still don't understand why I'm smiling here... Tearing down layer after layer with old wallpaper... Funny? NO!

I just read on Joakim's blog about last year when we moved to Gyldenpris. Those were the days! I had a brilliant year there. Now, however, London's calling.... September 12th I'm off to good, old England. I don't think am mentally prepared for it all at the moment, but I will be.
Also, I really look forward to next weekend! The reason is simple: Once a year, Haugesund finds an excuse to drink and party for several days by combinding herring and jazz music. Without doubt original! In fact, Karl Kristian and his girfriend finds the combination so fascinating that they're coming to visit us! Great! We have a lot of catching up to do...

Things to do in Haugesund...

That's all for now! I'll return in VERY short time with pictures of our freshly refurbished house. Also, pictures of the hottest real estate object in Haugesund in years will be exclusively available on this site soon... (That meant my apartement...)
